Donations in Richard's name

If you would like to make a donation in Richard's memory, these organizations would be fitting:

• 10th Mountain Huts - he loved visiting them both in summer and winter; 4-wheeling or skinning into the remote, spectacular huts, and was known to organize a few trips. He had planned to do the Haute Route in the Alps in 2020. 

• Community Sailing of Colorado - a sailing program in which Anna participated for many years, and we've supported financially since... they were the recipients of his beloved Santana 20 sailboat.

• Denver Hospice - they managed his pain and gave him a better quality of life for many weeks. He was able to eat well again, and even hoist a beer or two. We were able to enjoy time together as a family, he taught us how to take care of things around the house and fixed things he'd been meaning to fix, trimmed our Aspen trees, and visited with family & friends. Ever the skilled craftsman, he even built a beautiful mantle for our place in Breckenridge! (photo at left)

• Denver Dumb Friends' League - as true dog lovers, we have supported this charity for over a decade in Abe's memory.
